As a trusted advisor you will be responsible for providing guidance and support on various HR functions, including retention, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training and development, teambuilding and change management. You will join a close knit, supportive team in a global company. HR Oceania supports DSV in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

**Your job**:

- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and identify HR initiatives that align with the overall business goals.
- Contribute to organizational development initiatives, including change management, employee engagement, and culture building.
- Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage the full cycle of employee relations, including handling employee complaints, conducting investigations, and recommending appropriate resolutions.
- Work as part of the HR Oceania team, jumping in to help each other out where needed. This is varied generalist work at its best

**About you**:

- You have generalist HR experience across a broad range of people and culture activities.
- You can build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- You’re a problem-solver with sound decision-making abilities.
- You’re well organised and self-motivated.
- You have relevant HR qualifications/experience.
