**The opportunity**:
This newly created position will see you working as a critical part of KBR’s Maritime ILS team, supported by extremely knowledgeable and talented Maritime professionals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has MILIS experience and wants to expand and develop their ILS career in a supportive and close-knit team - backed by a global, industry leading organisation

**Mission and Scope**

The Obsolescence Support Officer will play a key role in the ILS and Obsolescence teams and provide support in relation to analysis of risks and costs associated with parts and systems that are reaching end of life.

You will have an understanding of Maritime material management, defence procurement procedures and obsolescence planning and management.

**In this position you will**:

- Triage CN14 obsolescence items as they arise and provide recommendations for action.
- Assist in activities to develop CN14 harvesting plan based around MHC obsolescence priorities.
- Higher level materiel inventory support to manage the demands of the products, such as, purchase to payment processes, cataloguing and codification, inventory management, inventory investigations, BPM remediation.
- ERP preparations as directed by PSM (MILIS cataloguing changes to meet the requirements).
- Management and administration of inventory management systems: Interpret data and reports and provide solutions to inventory activity and issues.
- Respond to adhoc tasking as directed by the PSM and A/PSM.
- High level access and experience in MILIS.
- Obsolescence planning and management experience.
- Experience in a Defence ILS environment is highly regarded.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Hold a current Baseline (or Higher) Security Clearance.
- Strong attention to detail;
