**About Us**

Engage Construction is a leading Sydney-based building and construction company, delivering a diverse range of projects from high end residential construction, alterations and additions, apartment renovations as well as remedial and refurbishment projects.

We are seeking an experienced **Site Foreman** to join our team and lead the delivery of projects on-site. If you take pride in your work, have strong leadership skills, and thrive in a hands-on role, we’d love to hear from you

**The Role**

As a **Site Foreman**, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. Your leadership will drive productivity, safety, and quality on-site.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure projects are completed to schedule and within budget
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Work on the tools as required to ensure projects meet our high standards
- Various carpentry works as required
- Enforce and uphold workplace health & safety standards
- Read and interpret plans, ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Problem-solve and proactively address site challenges
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and the broader team

**Please note**: This is a salaried position, and as the Site Foreman, you will take full responsibility for your site. Your hours will vary depending on the demands of the project — some days may require a 7am to 5pm presence on site, while other days may finish earlier. Flexibility and accountability are key.

**About You**
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman in the construction industry
- **Trade qualified** in carpentry or a related building field
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, hands-on approach to work
- White Card & relevant trade qualifications preferred
- Driver’s licence
- **Must have hands-on local Australian site experience and full work authorisation.** (We are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.)
- Must have own tools & vehicle

**Job Types**: Full-time, Subcontract

Pay: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

- Australia (preferred)
