**Our Needs**

We’re on the hunt for a resilient and dynamic security supervisor to join our high performing team as a _**Security Operations and Safety Supervisor**_.

Reporting into the Operations Managers, this role will be instrumental towards overseeing the day-to-day security operations for a portfolio of sites, ensuring service delivery expectations are exceeded, as well as ensuring your team are nurtured and effectively supported. There is an expectation that you'll be available to work a rotating roster over a 7 day week.

**The Role**

As the Security Operations and Safety Supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Overseeing the day-to-day security operations for allocated sites
- Driving and building a customer centric environment amongst your team
- Assisting with the planning and co-ordination of events
- Undertaking a variety of people management practices aligned with rostering, shift coverages, leave management, workforce planning and performance management
- Ensuring your team and sites have the necessary skills and equipment to do their job
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed through, as well as driving a strong safety culture
- Preparing and publishing a number of client and internal reports
- The ability to act as a relief security officer from time-to-time.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, its expected that you'll have the following:

- A 1AC Security Licence, First Aid Certificate and full NSW Drivers Licence
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment, Security Risk Management or Frontline Management highly regarded.
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in security operations
- Proven experience developing security documentation such as operational plans
- Proven experience leading, supporting and developing teams
- Computer literate, in Microsoft suite of products
- Demonstrated competency in the implementing, maintaining, and managing company systems to staff across to various client sites.
- Highly organised, with strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent personal presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
- Required to have strong time management skills and forward planning ability
- Commitment to the job involving regularly assisting with issues outside of standard work hours.
