**_ Here's an overview of your new role:_**

We seek to appoint an experienced and energetic **Sustainability Lead** to join our team. This key appointment plays a critical role in supporting effective design, development, implementation, and governance of Jemena’s decarbonisation plans to deliver material progress by 2030, and a roadmap of activities to improve our ESG maturity plans.

You will contribute to the Group’s sustainability strategy by developing and facilitating an integrated program plan of business changes and disclosures to deliver and embed Emissions and ESG improvements. You are a skilled Project Manager with experience in ESG and emissions reduction. The role will also support continuous improvement initiatives, influencing change and embedding new ways of working into business processes and operating rhythms.

**_ A little about your responsibilities:_**
- Contribute to sustainability strategy development and support the assessment of climate change and environmental risk considerations.
- Develop and govern an integrated program plan to deliver and embed ESG maturity, including emission reduction activities and climate disclosures
- Contribute to sustainability reporting processes

**_ A little about you_**
- Project Management experience focused on developing and delivering cross-function change programs
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders, including executive management
- The ability to engage and inspire others
- Knowledge to solve complex problems and think strategically

You possess relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with considerable experience in a similar role. You may come from consulting or affiliated industry, with a strong focus on ESG, sustainability or climate change. A thorough understanding of emissions related legislation and the related accounting and reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) is required.

Finally, you showcase the confidence, capability and prioritising skills to navigate competing business demands. You are autonomous, thrive in diverse work environments and are able to effectively manage the often changing priorities. Finally, you couple a 'can do' attitude with a positive, friendly demeanour. These traits will ensure success in this critical role.
