Join our team as an Assistant Manager at Wards Central Dining In this role, you will work with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our bustling restaurant located in Shenton Park. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the establishment, creating an enjoyable experience for both our team and our valued customers. This is a full-time position, weekend and possible evening work availability required. Our venue is open Monday to Sunday 7am - 3pm. **Wards Central Dining** is our newest venue to join the Do A Dinner family. Our other venues include **North Street Store**, **Little Loaf Lunch Bar**, **Big Loaf Shop** and **Big Loaf Factory Bakery**. The food we produce is simple, wholesome and delicious, made exclusively from local ingredients. We're on a mission to shape a world where people eat better, and our people are essential in making this happen. Key Responsibilities: \- Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service. \- Help to recruit and train new staff. \- Work with the management team to implement strategies to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and dining experience. \- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and safety throughout the restaurant. \- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively. \- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a "customer-first" mindset among the staff. **Requirements**: Approved Manager license and RSA certificate required. \- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a supervisory or managerial role within a hospitality setting. \- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire a diverse team. \- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and highly organised to multitask effectively. \- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
