We are looking for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join our largest Team Global Express site in QLD, working the PM shift that spans from 12:00pm - 00.00am Monday to Friday.

This is an opportunity to demonstrate your operational knowledge, reporting expertise and people coordination skills. Your remit will be full responsibility for managing resources to exceed budgetary and service expectations, control and monitor costs, plan for optimization of equipment and labour while adhering to the underlying drivers of profitability.

As the PM Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Outbound line hauls - up to 40 B doubles on a shift.- Staff of 60 people with 3 direct reports.- Ensuring operation cost is minimised on shift.- Forecasting the Linehaul and resourcing needs.- Implementing detailed reporting metrics.- Ensuring COR compliance and regulations are met and maintained.- Coordinating with other dept. managers to make sure site is flowing correctly.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior Transport and Logistics Operations Management experience- Experience in an industrial environment with detailed industrial instruments- Strong leadership, interpersonal/communication, and reporting skills- Experience in controlling and reporting on contract performance/cost management-
- Exceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism- Experience in Linehaul load restraint, vehicle utilisations, fatigue management and forklift operations- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills- Ability to work in a team environment.- Time Management Skills- WH&S co-ordination
