**What's on offer?**

This is an opportunity to join our Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) team as an HSE Advisor. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing and managing ABN Victoria's residential HS&E strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards while mitigating risks in health and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assist in implementing and maintaining ABN Group’s HS&E Management System
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new contractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with HS&E standards
- Conduct investigations into HS&E incidents on ABN Victoria sites and provide constructive feedback
- Conduct site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and contribute to the risk mitigation process
- Review and assess safe work statements to meet state legislated requirements
- Maintain electronic records related to HSE activities

**What can you bring?**
- Certificate IV in OH&S (or higher)
- Knowledge of current OH&S legislation and standards, particularly regarding subcontractors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- proficient in MS Office suite
- Comprehensive understanding of the construction process
- Relevant construction experience, preferably in residential construction
