We are searching for an Strategic Innovation Design Lead who can help shape and drive Human Centred Design-led innovation engagements and inspire companies to push beyond status-quo.

**The role of an Ignite Strategic Innovation Design Lead**
We’re looking for someone to join our Ignite team with a willingness to work with and thrive in ambiguity + bring the ambidexterity to work in a design-led innovation team. We believe the best Igniters are those who obsess over listening deeply to our customers to help them understand and define the challenge and opportunity space they want to solve for. Igniters do so in a way that amplifies and inspires our human-centered approach.

**The person we are looking for should be able to**:

- **Design for and inspire Vision Confidence**:Build vision confidence with stakeholders and clients
- **Combine Intuition + Empathy**: Combine empathy, creative instinct and business savvy to listen for and identify opportunities for our customers to create value for their business and its stakeholders.
- **Collaborate with cross-functional teams **of researchers, designers, and technologists to design and conduct bespoke innovation engagements that benefit the customer, Salesforce, and Ignite
- **Work with and be excited to champion Human Centred Design**: Ignite take an entrepreneurial approach to strategic enterprise transformation with our customers, partners and Salesforce account teams
- **Develop original frameworks, **concepts, and visions to design and shape critical conversations with customers that bring complex solutions to life creatively, efficiently and powerfully
- **Participate in thought leadership**:Generate provocations and stimulus that inspire the broader team and customer
- **Design and lead workshops**: Co-Facilitate complex work sessions for C-suite executives, key decision-makers and cross-functional teams to understand their needs and ambitions, and/or to articulate a role for Salesforce in the future of their businesses
- **Articulate the value of design **and the logic of design choices, while supporting a robust culture of constructive, open critique
- **Show courage and flexibility **in determining the level of fidelity of stimulus, presentation, and activities to effectively capture deep user insights and communicate story and strategy to the customer
- Have good working knowledge of the Platform and leverage it to inspire teams and customers
- **Continuously sense for what’s on the horizon**:Continuously monitor and share emergent, disruptive trends in strategy, technology, and business

**Experience and Skills**

We’re looking for someone who has:

- Consulting experience in a management consulting, venture architecture or innovation strategy context
- A successful track record of engaging executive stakeholders and participating in cross-functional teams
- Strong business acumen with knowledge of corporate strategy, business model design
- Experience collaborating with designers and researchers by providing business insights to frame and enhance a design thinking or innovation processes
- Experience reframing business challenges as actionable innovation opportunities
- Passionate curiosity regarding emerging trends in innovation, business strategy, and the challenges of transforming large enterprises, and enthusiasm for using the design process to make businesses more effective, relevant and successful.
- Knowledge of enterprise operations and technology challenges
- Exemplary verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, plus strong facilitation skills with an ability to balance conversation in mixed groups and manage political dynamics
