**About the role**
Pathzero is currently looking for a Business Development Associate to join our growth team to work alongside our Account Managers and build our pipeline and accelerate clients through our sales funnel.
This role will be wide and varied, however your key responsibilities will include:
- Qualifying incoming leads and collaborating with the commercial team to develop these leads into opportunities
- Driving traffic to various online and offline events including (but not limited to) tradeshows, webinars and seminars
- Creating campaigns in collaboration with marketing for target accounts within key industries to uncover potential contacts with the aim to arrange meetings, consultations and demonstrations
- Confidently communicating with prospects about terminology, features, and the value of our product to drive engagement and a desire to learn more
- Accurately determining customer requirements and clearly articulating how our solution solves their problems
- Maintaining accurate lead and account information and documenting sales activities within the CRM to help report success back to the business
- Developing and enriching our database of contacts within our CRM and identifying key contacts to target in collaboration with the commercial team.
**What are your strengths**
- 1 years’ experience in sales/business development/lead generative role, preferably in B2B SaaS and/or financial services; experience in a fast-growing environment is a plus
- Pragmatic, strategic and results driven, combined with strong people skills and an empathetic outlook; entrepreneurial and collaborative attitude with a growth mindset
- Early experience of identifying opportunities, problem-solving and decision-making
- Confident, professional, articulate, purpose driven, and professional story-telling capability complimented with sharp focus on customer needs, execution and delivery
- Some knowledge of CRM software, preferably HubSpot, viewed favourably
- Experience serving as the voice of the customer and collecting feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas of Pathzero, in particular CX and product
- Great attitude, energy and enthusiasm are critical together with an obsession for customers, their results and ours
