About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Hunter Class line of business based at Osborne SA, other locations will be considered for the right talent, reporting to the Operations & Service Delivery Manager - Maritime.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working
You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end service delivery process, managing client relationships, and driving operational excellence.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring open communication and timely issue resolution
- Develop and implement service delivery strategies to meet and exceed client expectations
- Actively engage with stakeholders, promote effective decision-making, and influence strategic direction to enhance service delivery
- Monitor and analyse service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices, enhancing service quality and ensuring cohesive and efficient support across the organisation
- Implement robust contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted service in the face of unforeseen challenges
- Provide input and assistance throughout the service delivery lifecycle. Work directly with stakeholders to define strategic requirements, scope, design, and implement relevant service delivery processes

About YOU
- Proven experience in a Service Delivery Manager Role or similar capacity
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performing team
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
- Solid understanding of service delivery processes, ITIL framework, and industry best practices
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding service level agreements
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
