About the role

Stantec's hydraulic team in Melbourne is seeking a Hydraulic Drafter to join the team during this exciting growth period.

This position is aimed at someone who ideally has some Revit experience working on building services projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects including, commercial, healthcare and educational buildings.

This position is suitable for someone looking to grow with a professional and supportive team.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

- \tPrepare BIM documentation using predominantly Revit
- \tManage and deliver drafting / design building services work packages relating to hydraulic projects.
- \tExecute drafting work within time constraints to a professional standard
- \tProduce detailed, coordinated Hydraulic services models and attend interdisciplinary coordination workshops
- \tProduce drawings to ensure that technical design will provide the appropriate solution
- \tReliably support Engineers and Project Engineers
- \tAdhere to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures
- \tContribute to our Company culture

What we are Ideally looking for:

- \tIdeally have hydraulic drafting experience working on building services projects
- \tUnderstand BIM techniques using Revit
- \tExcellent written and verbal communication skills
- \tPositive, can-do attitude with the ability to use initiative and think outside the box
- \tAbility to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- \tAbility to work independently once set a task
- \tA desire to continue development in the Revit/BIM Design package space is key
