BIM Designer | Electrical (Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane)

ADP Consulting is seeking a BIM Designer | Electrical with 4+ years of experience to join our growing team in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. You will help deliver high-performance, resilient, and sustainable facilities that power the digital economy.

You will collaborate with electrical engineers and the broader design team to produce coordinated BIM models and detailed documentation across all project stages. Using Revit, you will model complex electrical systems including power distribution, standby power systems, lighting, security, and communications infrastructure.

You will support project delivery from concept to construction, ensuring model accuracy, constructability, and compliance with BIM standards, while also implementing and maintaining BIM workflows, contributing to digital coordination, and supporting clash detection processes.

In addition, you will assist in developing and maintaining BIM execution plans specific to data centre projects, ensuring alignment with client and industry standards. You will participate in design reviews and coordination meetings, actively contributing to the improvement of digital delivery outcomes.

• Experience: 4+ years as a BIM Designer/Modeller in building services, ideally within electrical engineering. Previous exposure to data centres or large, complex infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, or BIM360 is a plus.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian Standards, NCC, and critical electrical systems in large-scale or mission-critical facilities.
• Attention to detail: A strong eye for documentation quality, design intent, and model integrity.
• Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work closely with engineers, architects, and clients.
