As a Hydraulic & Fire Services Engineer, you will use your digital skills to deliver critical social infrastructure projects from life-saving hospitals to high tech Data Centres. The Opportunity

  • Develop and coordinate detailed 3D BIM models for Hydraulic and Fire services across a broad range of projects.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate drawings, schedules, and associated documentation to support design delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of Hydraulic/Fire models within multidisciplinary projects.
  • Assist with digital design reviews, clash detection and model quality assurance processes.
  • Support continuous improvement in Arup's digital delivery, exploring new tools and workflows that enhance efficiency and innovation.

Is this role right for you?

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Engineering Drafting, Building Services Design, or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience as a BIM Modeller in Building Services, ideally within Hydraulic and Fire disciplines.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with exposure to other digital design and coordination tools (e.g. Navisworks, BIM360).
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and modelling protocols.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
