We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Assisting individuals with disabilities in accessing community resources and participating in recreational activities.
- Monitoring and documenting individual progress and any changes in behavior or health status.
- Implementing individualized care plans and providing support in accordance with client needs.
- Collaborating with other members of the support team, including healthcare professionals and family members, to ensure coordinated care.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy towards individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working with children check
- Cert 3 or cert 4 in disability or individual support.
- Manual handling & cpr certification.
- First aid certificat.
- Medication certificate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation preferred.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
