We are looking for an extrusion operator to join our pipe manufacturing team. This is a role that will give the right person an opportunity to make a difference by making high quality products in a clean and safe environment.

You will be engaged in the extrusion and molding of products that meet Australian and European quality standards, conducting die setting tooling changes, performing machine shut down and start up’s, trouble shooting and problem solving. Most importantly you will have input into continuous improvements that lead to an excellent customer experience. After all that is what we are all about

To be successful, you must be dedicated to ensuring safety for yourself and your workmates and quality focused. Whilst experience in extrusion and molding is desirable, training is provided so if you have a trade qualification (mechanical) or plastic injection molding experience, you are certainly encouraged to apply.

What you need to bring:

- Have a forklift license and be competent in the safe use of forklifts
- Previous experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- A manufacturing Cert III (preferred)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Totally a team player
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Good written, numeracy and verbal communication skills
- Be Self-motivated, resilient and bring a positive attitude
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Computer skills
