Guhring Australia is seeking to expand it’s cutting tool production workforce at it’s facility based in Oakleigh South.

About the position

The position is full time 40 hours per week.

Your primary role will be operating Guhring made CNC Tool and Cutter Grinders manufacturing and re-servicing a wide variety of cutting tools.

The role will include
- Understanding the technical drawing.
- Setting up/running the CNC machines.
- Quality checking of the tools that have been produced.
- Liaising with other production operatives.

Skills and Experience

The position is suitable for individuals who possess the following attributes:

- Have an Engineering/Mechanical background.
- Is well driven with a good work ethic.
- Having the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously should the need arise.
- Have good communicating skills.
- Can read engineering technical drawings.
- The ability to work on a Day/Afternoons shift rotation will be advantageous.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria;
- The ability to work in Australia.
- Hold permanent residency status.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
