Operations / Facilities Manager - contract till end of December - Brisbane CBD - Government

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for all aspects of operations management functions relating to a CBD based commercial office tenancy. This will include:

- Managing and maintain building compliance in line with all statutory and regulatory requirements (including essential services, building maintenance and emergency management)
- Coordinating and overseeing the timely completion of any building works
- Reporting for all corporate facility managed functions
- Implementation and management of WHS policies and processes
- Managing the delivery of both hard and soft services for internal customers
- Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation including senior public servants

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will be a skilled Facilities Management professional with substantial experience in the management of facilities operations. You will have held oversight of both hard and soft services, and be able to demonstrate the successful delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services. You will be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders including public servants, and experience working within the public sector would be highly desirable.

**What you'll get in return**

This is a contract opportunity initially running until the end of the calendar year working for a busy and interesting federal government department. You will work out of a Brisbane CBD based office and will receive a competitive rate of pay. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on an interesting and varied long term contract within the government space.
