We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Logistics’ Rail team, within our Operations Division on a full-time, permanent basis as a _Lead - Rail Processes and Systems_.

This role will report to the Manager - Rail Operations and working closely with both CBH and rail service providers’ operational personnel.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide support in managing the CBH rail contracts and the ability to operate safely and efficiently; assisting in the management and execution of the CBH Rail Safety Management Plan.

**Responsibilities include**:
- Ensuring the performance standard requirements under the Rail Safety Regulations are adequately reviewed, documented, and applied- Working collaboratively with CBH’s Health and Safety team and Operations to ensure alignment of systems, processes and reporting; leading changes if required- Assist in the ongoing management of the Rail Services Agreement and other rail related contracts- Lead operational and asset management project work as required; such as discrete project coordination, studies
- including data collection and analysis- Oversee the Rail Safety Management Plan document and associated operating plans, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure accuracy, compliance; while correcting any systemic issues or seeking enhancements- Participate in long-term rail safety, operational and strategic planning- Assist in rail performance related management activities and initiatives

**About You**:
- Demonstrated extensive operational rail experience- Expertise in overseeing rail safety management systems- Background in either maintenance or train operations- Proven ability to manage projects effectively;- Familiarity with exposure to contractor management- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise- Strong conceptual, analytical and problems solving skills
