Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex project and major change activities | State Government

**Your new company**

A major State Government department located near Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced and confident Project/Product Manager to lead and manage multiple complex projects and major change activities. You will be based in a modern fit-out office located conveniently to public transport and nearby parking facilities, and will initially be engaged on a 12-month temporary basis. You will be required to work full-time hours, with some flexible working arrangements on offer.

**Your new role**

As the Project Delivery Lead you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple complex project and/or major change initiatives across the department. Within this role you will focus on an array of areas from Business Solutions, Change and Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management and more. You will be responsible for duties including:

- Leading key strategic change initiatives, focusing on business solutions and benefits
- Liaise with key sponsors and stakeholders about program initiatives and delivery outcomes
- Develop and maintain project deliverables, collaborating with the project team with focus on business cases, frameworks, change and communications
- Manage resources, project schedules, risk, budget and any issues to ensure the project schedule is on track
- Lead and mentor individuals and/or the team, ensuring project delivery is timely and effective

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role you will demonstrate previous experience within Project, Product or Commercial Management positions. In addition, you will display:

- Advanced experience within leadership and management of complex business changes
- Sound decision-making abilities with the ability to lead effective change opportunities, initiatives and improvements
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience, with competence liaising with suppliers and vendor engagements
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work autonomously and demonstrate strong initiative
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships

**What you'll get in return**

In return, you will be engaged on an initial temporary basis working for an initial 12-month period. You will be required to work full-time hours, with flexible working arrangements on offer. You will be based in an office located near Perth CBD, with convenient access to public transport and parking facilities.
