We are a proud Western Australian co-operative and as Australia’s largest co-operative we are a leader in the Australian grain industry. We have grown from humble roots into one of the world’s largest and most efficient grain supply chains, delivering millions of tonnes of quality Western Australian grain into the hands of customers around the world each year.

Our storage and handling system currently receives and exports around 90 per cent of the Western Australian grain harvest and is regarded as one of the best in the world. We in-load via our own in-house design screw conveyor pits, bucket elevators, ground conveyors, trippers, and stackers into multiple storage types. We strive to continually improve our equipment from site feedback, and we have a strong pipeline of work that focuses on out-loading with multiple new rail loading facilities and expansions of our existing receival sites.

**About the role**

We are seeking a Project Delivery Lead who is passionate about the construction and delivery of materials handling infrastructure.

Leading the industry in practical, effective project management solutions, you should be passionate about mastering the project management craft whilst having the full support of CBH on these landmark builds. Be part of the CBH legacy and deliver projects that de-bottleneck the CBH network leading to increased tones to Port and thus to our customers worldwide.

Assisting the Project Manager, you will lead the construction and delivery of a multi-million-dollar greenfields out-loading facility with associated rail infrastructure. Encompassing disciplines from civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering, the position calls for a strong boots on the ground project delivery background with a practical attitude centred around achieving project outcomes.

Be responsible for the formation and implementation of commercial, schedule and budgetary strategies to see the project through execution and successful completion.

With a strong pipeline of projects in various phases of the project lifecycle, you will also be exposed to the pre-construction concept and design generation with the opportunity to influence and develop these in conjunction with their eventual delivery.

**Collaborating with contractors, internal & external stakeholders, you will be responsible for**:
- Contract and contractor management.- Review design and construction plans, schedules and method statements to ensure constructability.- Monitor project progress against the programme and budget.- Effectively assign tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications.- Prepare accurate project reports.- Develop and tender major procurement, design and construction scopes of work.- Engage with local government and community.- Build and maintain critical stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management.- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with delivering projects and designs as a part of a large Contractor, Owners Team or EPCM.-
- Demonstrated commitment to a Safety-First culture and with an excellent understanding of Safety in Design and Hazard Identification.- In-depth understanding of project planning, estimating and cost, scheduling, and risk management.- Sound knowledge and experience with Contracts and Procurement strategies and management practices across various commercial platforms.- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely in various forms of communication and produce high quality written documentation.- Advanced proficiency in software tools such as the Microsoft Office suite and project management software such as Microsoft Project.- A positive attitude and a pragmatic, results-dri
