
Principal Business Change Officer

This project is part of a multi-year transformation to improve individual capability and organisational maturity in program and project management practice.
You will be instrumental in the development and implementation of a capability improvement plan to establish an environment that enables program and project delivery teams to be successful.
Your primary remit will be to drive business change management activities to ensure that new ways of working are embedded into business as usual, the required changes in operational practices and culture are achieved and, as a result, the expected benefits are realised.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above.
Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces.
- Manage business change activities within a clinical IM/ICT program/project, including business change management, benefits realisation, communications, stakeholder engagement and training.
- Manage, identify, develop, and plan business change management deliverables and resources required to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of clinical IM/ICT program/project(s) which meet business needs.
- Ensure strategic alignment to the realisation of business benefits by establishing baseline measures and metrics that are able to be monitored throughout the project lifecycle and post implementation.
- Initiate, influence, and maintain effective relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage needs, expectations, mitigate risks and support change.
- Encourage strong and supportive ownership, leadership, and sponsorship through the use of effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business.
- Manage capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary project team(s).
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in designing and implementing organisational change frameworks, processes, systems, resources, and capability in large, diverse organisations.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills with proven experience communicating, facilitating, and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders, including unions, in a confident and professional manner and influencing outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in proactively leading and engaging stakeholders in organisational and cultural change processes, being responsive, and delivering on strategic intent.
- Proven experience in change management and implementing initiatives in large organisations, delivering clear innovation and improvement outcomes within strict timeframes and budgets.
- Proven ability to guide, educate and support senior leadership and line managers to lead change programs, engage employees and achieve key objectives.
