As the Principal Communications and Change Consultant you will have responsibility for the following:

- Support the Manager, Change, Communications and Capability Development in providing expert advice on change and communication activities.
- Develop, manage, and implement integrated and targeted communication strategies and initiatives aimed at informing staff, customer agencies and stakeholders of key organisational direction, progress, and changes.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management and other QSS staff on the effective management of communication and opportunities regarding the portfolio of projects and QSS change activities.
- Provide strategic advice, direction and protocols regarding the use and purpose of QSS' key communication channels, including its internet and intranet sites, Queensland Government web franchises, service management software, learning support and internal social media channels.
- Develop communication activities and materials for all QSS stakeholders, including internal and external broadcast messages and agency and project communications.
- Identify and encourage the development of opportunities to promote the portfolio and initiatives using existing and new cost-efficient channels.
- Design and facilitate stakeholder workshops.
- Reviewing and providing advice on presentations and materials for external conferences, ensuring messages align with organisational strategy and are consistent and clear.

The Principal Communications & Change Consultant reports to the Manager, Change Communication & Capability Development, Portfolio and Change, QSS Enabling Services.
