**The Position**

Working in a small HR team, you will report into the HR Business Partner alongside two others. This role is highly generalist and will see you responsible for employee benefits, disciplinary actions, HR reporting, terminations, payroll and other ad-hoc HR duties. This is a busy and complex environment in a global business and will be suited to someone wanting to advance their human resources career.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Promote & drive employee engagement and support the implementation of site strategy;
- Maintain resource manning levels to meet business requirements and assist with recruitment and induction processes;
- Provide high level administrative support to the HR department including compilation of weekly HR KPI reports;
- Develop effective relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders;
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements;
- Ensure HR information systems, manual and electronic are created and maintained as the primary source of employee information;
**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Human Resources Officer role;
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, or related business discipline;
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and an approachable and enthusiastic demeanor;
- Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment;
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail;
- High levels of organisation skills; a self-starter who can be committed to seeing projects through to the end.
