Job Description: HR & Admin Officer

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Reports To: Country Director

Role Summary

This role blends human resources and administrative responsibilities to support the smooth operation of the Melbourne office. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement, while also overseeing administrative tasks including office coordination, travel arrangements, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain employee records including time tracking and HRIS systems.
  • Support performance review cycles and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Liaise with external partners (e.g., immigration consultants, benefits providers).

Administration

  • Manage office supplies, facilities, and vendor relationships.
  • Organise travel, meetings, and events for the leadership team.
  • Handle correspondence, documentation, and internal communications.
  • Support budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR and/or office administration.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
