Overview:
Are you a visionary and results-driven leader with a passion for driving transformative change? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
**General Manager - Business Integration** to lead and oversee the successful integration of acquired entities and drive transformative initiatives within Gallagher Bassett.

As the General Manager - Business Integration, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration, optimising business processes, and implementing strategic changes to enhance organisational efficiency, agility, and competitiveness.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans** - **including organisational alignment, culture integration, systems integration, and synergy realisation.
- Identify and prioritise key transformational projects aligned with our strategic goals. Develop detailed project plans, define project scopes, and set clear objectives to drive successful implementation.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and organisational structures
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the progress and success of integration and transformation efforts and to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact the success of integration and transformation projects.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners. Provide regular updates on integration and transformation progress and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to integration and transformation.
- Encourage a culture of innovation within our organisation and explore opportunities for process optimisation and improvement.
- Develop and manage the budget for integration and transformation projects. Optimise resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various departments, including finance, P&C, IT, operations, and marketing/comms, to ensure effective coordination and collaboration during integration and transformation projects.

Qualifications:
You will be experienced in leading integrations and transformation initiatives at a senior management level, ideally within a similar industry or sector.

Alongside this you will have strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.

Furthermore, you will have;
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities, capable of influencing and inspiring diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of change management principles and methodologies to drive organisational change effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive process optimisation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks related to integration and transformation activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is highly regarded.
