**Full job description**
We are looking for a bright, motivated, client focused, experienced lawyer with minimum 3-6 years PQE to work directly with two Partners in our Commercial/ Corporate/Intellectual Property team.

In this role you will be involved in all areas of commercial, corporate and IP transactional work, including acquisitions and disposals, investments, loan and security, shareholder agreements, as well as restructuring and corporate advisory work. In terms of client base, this role has a good mix, and will see you advising Australian and international clients, including both private and public companies, on a range of matters for a number of industry sectors.

Day to day, you will work on commercial business matters from start to finish, such as;
- Preparing and drafting commercial agreements, joint venture agreements,
- Advise clients on company restructurings,
- Preparing and drafting partnership agreements, trademark prosecutions and filings,
- Providing advice for portfolio management, sale and purchase of businesses, corporate and trust structuring.
- Undertaking research, investigations and due diligences, for court cases preparation
- Represent clients in court and give notice of court actions to clients

**Skills & Experience**

To be considered for this position, you will have at least 3-6 years post qualifying experience as a Commercial and Corporate lawyer in a similar role and be technically competent in the area of commercial law. Ideally, you will have an interest in IP and want to be developed in this area. It is important that you are a strong communicator, you pride yourself in your high attention to detail and you plan your time effectively to meet deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Solicitor practising certificate
- Bachelor of Law degree
- Minimum of 3-6 years post qualifying experience as a Commercial and Corporate lawyer
- Strong communication skills
- Interest towards Intellectual Property
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
