**The Role**:The People Operations Manager role is designed to deliver efficient and cost-effective people operations support to the business, providing a best practice customer experience & ensuring the accuracy of the HRIS & Payroll functions.

**People Operations Strategy Implementation**
- Functional People Operations initiatives & programs are:

- Clearly aligned with people strategy
- Proactive PCG service delivery and streamlining the processes such as onboarding, and induction and all other people processes
- Ensure alignment with regional initiatives
- End to End processing of all people processes including payroll.
- People Operations projects and programs are implemented successfully using effective project management skills

**Operational**
**Performance**
- Trends in operational performance of HR Shared Services are analysed and reviewed and opportunities for improvement are identified and implemented
- Ensure the data accuracy for HRIS and Payroll systems and ensure a robust reporting mechanism for CPO and HRBP’s.
- Ensuring the accurate and compliant payroll processing via outsourced ADP service working with the HRSS team offshore to maintain clear roles and responsibilities.
- Continuous improvement processes review and implementing automated workflows
- FBAU policy interpretation, advice and counsel is provided to clients
- HR Programs are implemented and successfully communicated to support the FBAU EVP
- HRSS delivery complies with relevant statutory and corporate governance requirements
- Reporting information is maintained and communicated as required.
- Fit for purpose HR related reporting and analytics function

**Payroll Operations**
- Manage relationship with FB Asia Pacific on Payroll delivery and processes, to ensure performance and accuracy is of the highest quality.
- Ensure compliance of payroll with Australian legislative and regulatory requirements and provide support and leadership on complex issues as required.
- Accountable for end-to-end payroll processing

- Internal and external clients have a positive experience with the People Operations team and client satisfaction targets are agreed and met
- Day to day issues/concerns with service levels are resolved promptly to the satisfaction of stakeholders
- Experience as a HR Shared Services Manager, Payroll Manager or similar roles
- Current working knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience with employee satisfaction surveys
- Transactional work on the HR information system and Payroll system
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Communicating effectively with key stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills are essential.
