We are currently looking for one or two Disability Support Worker(s) to **work in the Flemington area. This role could include personal care duties, some light house work and some community outings.**

We are currently seeking experienced and committed Disability Support Workers to provide care and supervision **for flexible 3-4h shifts during the week with a possibility for Saturday support as well.**

Applicants must be experienced with a responsible attitude. The successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of how to support an individual living with a disability. You must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life and independence. You will need to be compassionate and empathetic with strong listening and communication skills to be successful and the ability to connect with people with behavioural challenges.

**Qualifications & Experiences**

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Support Worker with the following:

- Certificate IV in Disability, Individual Support or relevant
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Driver licence
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Experience working with difficult behaviours, transitioning difficulties, mood instability and ability to actively engage with clients
- **Experience working with people with an ABI will be highly regarded**

**Key Responsibilities & Duties for Disability Support Worker**
- Provide individualised support and some personal care to our client using a supportive and positive approach
- Motivate and promote client independence
- Assist the client with their emotional, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs
- Supervise client's participation in home schooling and transitioning between activities
- Provide transport when required
- Make sure our client is HAPPY

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
