**About the role**
No need to travel for hours to the Valley, we are central to Newcastle and have free onsite parking.

This position offers a Monday to Friday day work roster, plus there are opportunities for overtime if interested. You will be contributing to the manufacturing of our high quality Grinding Media products

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

- forklift operation (up to 16T)
- overhead crane operation (remote, pendant and cabin controlled)
- machine/equipment operation
- oiling and greasing
- basic dogging
- general labouring duties
- loading and unloading of heavy vechicles
- preparing and packaging finished products

Critical in this role is your ability to follow all quality and safety procedures, standards and systems and work as part of a team.

**About you**
For this role, you will have:

- Effective communication skills
- Experience working in a heavy industry environment, but not essential
- Ability to operate autonomously with a high attention to detail
- A positive can-do attitude
- Demonstrated commitment to working safely and leading by example
