JH Civil Group is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing team, working across a variety of civil construction projects. You'll play a key role in delivering quality work through safe and efficient machine operation.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating a variety of machinery ranging from 1.5T to 50T.
  • Safely load and unload plant and equipment.
  • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in trenching, bulk earthworks, stormwater installation, and pipework.
  • Ensuring reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Taking pride in workmanship, including routine machine maintenance and care.
  • Ensuring capability of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Excavator Operator.
  • Proven experience operating machinery ranging from 1.5T to 50T.
  • Current and valid machine operating tickets (e.g. Statement of Attainment, VOC).
  • White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
  • Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) truck license.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Reliable personal transport to and from site.
