The Manager Mechanical and Electrical is responsible for the strategic implementation and management of engineering projects and various maintenance and upgrade programs. The role requires a high degree of business acumen and project management skills, including procurement processes, budget, and cash flow monitoring, reporting, and ensuring emerging issues and areas of risk are identified and actively managed. As the Manager, you will also be responsible for translating strategic directions into successful service delivery, bringing commercial professionalism and a focus on achieving tenant-oriented and value for money outcomes. The Manager will also coordinate people management, business planning, budget management and reporting tasks.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Oversee local delivery of integrated, multidisciplinary services that provide holistic client outcomes and ensure they meet state-wide departmental and government objectives, budget considerations and community expectations.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of maintenance issues impacting the department's clients and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards, and operating practices to enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency, and improved client outcomes.
- Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders and collaborate on the strategic design and development of departmental objectives that impact state-wide or significant localised service delivery to ensure effective, efficient, and coordinated maintenance services are provided for all clients.
