**FIRM OVERVIEW**:
Epsilon Direct Lending (Epsilon) is a purpose-driven and customer-focussed private market asset manager with the aim of providing bespoke financing solutions to middle market companies, while delivering stable returns for Investors, in all cases operating with the highest levels of integrity, reliability, and transparency.
Epsilon was established with a broad mandate to provide underserved middle market corporate borrowers with access to bespoke funding solutions. Our borrower clients are Australian and New Zealand based companies and private equity investors requiring capital for growth and event-driven purposes (including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, liquidity, and refinancing situations).
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Assist in executing and managing direct lending investments, developing relationships in the market and gathering market intelligence with financial sponsors, active corporate borrowers as well as intermediaries
- Executing lending opportunities:
- Analysis of business plans, commercial and financial due diligence packages
- Company and market research across a wide variety of industries
- Development of integrated financial models
- Input into financial structuring and preparation of term sheets
- Preparation of external marketing presentations
- Attending meetings with prospective clients, intermediaries, and financial sponsors
- Assisting in deal and credit negotiations and closing requirements
- Portfolio Management:
- Assist in tracking and monitoring portfolio company results, preparing valuations, identifying developments / trends, supporting secondary transactions and ongoing interaction with management teams, industry sources, and other investment professionals
- Investor Relations:
- Assist in the preparation of fund investor reports
- Support the development and coaching of other team members
- Other duties associated with the role as required
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- 2-8 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance or corporate lending or investment banking or corporate advisory or within the corporate finance team of a professional services firm
- Possess a high degree of self-motivation, the ability to drive for results, and track record of setting and achieving goals and meeting schedules
- Experience dealing with senior management and key stakeholders through relationship management and transaction execution
- Analytical mindset and structured work approach
- Intellectually curious, not afraid to ask questions
- Enjoy being part of a successful, supportive and fun team culture
- Excellent oral, numerical, written and communication skills
- Strong knowledge and handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- University degree in finance or equivalent qualification
