Inner West Council requires an Asset Systems Coordinator to lead and manage the Asset Systems team and be accountable for the development and implementation of ‘best practice’ asset management systems, processes and solutions for Council’s transport and stormwater infrastructure in accordance with Council’s Asset Management Policy, Strategy and Plans

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Ensuring all appropriate actions are taken to implement the Health and Safety policy, procedures to satisfy legislative requirements.
- Ensuring regular monitoring of Health and Safety performance in the area of their responsibility.
- Commitment to WH&S
- Undertaking accident/incident investigations
- Liaising with Health and Safety representatives in relation to workplace Health and Safety issues.
- Improving health and safety performance ile work orders and other asset related data collection devices and software.
- Undertaking regular inspections to assist in the identification of hazards
- Attending health and safety meetings

**Essential Criteria**

1. Tertiary qualifications in asset management, information technology or other appropriate discipline recognised by relevant Australian professional institute and/or

3. Well-developed project management, procurement and contract management skills successfully utilised in delivering asset management systems and improvements.

4. Strong interpersonal & communication skills, ability to work within a multi-disciplined team environment, engage stakeholders & work collaboratively.

5. Knowledge of public sector financial management and budgetary processes.

6. Understanding and commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, work health and safety, ethical practice and acting with probity at all times.

7. Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.
