**The Carrington**is a hidden gem of Surry Hills, located on Bourke St, serving your pub favourite food with a variety of beers, wines & cocktails. It features both indoor & outdoor dog-friendly spaces, we are the go-to local for a drink alongside your furry best friend and great for small to large functions as well. With a variety of fun activities throughout the week, there’s always something to keep things exciting.

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced **Venue Manager** to lead our dynamic front-of-house team. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of venue operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and cultivate a positive, growth-driven work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Deliver Excellence**: Ensure exceptional service and product quality that aligns with _The Carrington’s_ brand standards.
- **Build the Dream Team**: Recruit, onboard, and develop a team that embodies our culture and skills expectations.
- **Motivate and Inspire**: Create and manage team incentives to drive performance, productivity, and motivation.
- **Drive Improvement**: Analyse guest reviews, recognise excellence, and identify areas for growth.
- **Strategic Labour Management**: Optimise labour costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
- **Ensure Compliance**: Maintain adherence to laws, regulations, and RSA requirements.
- **Track Performance**: Generate and analyse daily reports to monitor revenue and expenses.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven experience in a managerial role within pub-style venues.
- Ability to establish strong relationships within the local community.
- Inspiring leadership skills to motivate and engage a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and relevant software.
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality laws and regulations, including RSA.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
