**Who we’re looking for**:
The objective of the Manager, Environment/Release role is to support the programs and projects within the IT Delivery portfolio to achieve their critical paths by providing integrated environment and release planning and management, to drive efficiencies by aggregating environment demand, and to coordinate business impacts via an integrated release schedule.

The IT Project Delivery Office (PDO) comprises a number of large / complex programs and a tail of other initiatives totalling $60-70m spend per year. We are currently on a journey to streamline and integrate how we manage environments, releases, business change and procurement across the portfolio, with an initial focus on the larger and more complex programs.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Develop and maintain the consolidated environment demand forecast
- Ensure timely provision and removal of environments to support program and project critical paths
- Manage the interface with the run team(s) to effect safe and timely releases
- Set and ensure compliance with environment management principles and patterns
- Coach and develop IT Project Delivery teams through business transformation
- Responsible for working with a wide range of stakeholders to embed consistent environment management principles and patterns

**You’ll be great in this role if you**:
- Experience working in a waterfall and agile software development environment (scrum)
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in leading a team
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders, including executive management
- Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders in both written and verbal communications.
- Proven ability to identify, develop and evaluate strategic options and opportunities using applied forward thinking and entrepreneurial approaches
