Northpark Private Hospital is seeking Environmental Services Assistants to join our Housekeeping team on a casual basis. In this fast paced and varied environment you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

**About us**

Northpark Private Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Melbourne's northern suburbs. Northpark provides a full range of surgical and medical services including a dedicated mental health unit, a full service maternity unit including mother and baby services.

Northpark Private Hospital is located on the corner of Plenty Road and Greenhill's Road Bundoora, close to public transport and onsite parking is available.

We are currently redeveloping our sister Hospital Latrobe Private and as part of our Housekeeping Team you will have the opportunity to work across both sites.

**As a Environmental Service Assistant your responsibilities will include**:

- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
- Provide high standard of cleaning service
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
- Room and en-suite cleaning
- Theatre cleaning
- Vacuuming
- Removal of rubbish and dirty linen
- Cleaning and maintenance of patient and work areas.
- Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous experience in a hospital hospitality setting (desirable)
- Excellent time management skills
- Commitment to service excellence.
- Strong communication and customer skills
- Attention to detail
- Work well independently and within a team
- Flexibility / Ability to work early/ late shifts and weekend work
- Available for on call shifts
- Must have a police check dated in the last 12 months
- Must have a Working with Children’s Check
- Must provide Serology testing dated in the last 12 months
