We are seeking a proficient and highly motivated Accounts Officer to join our Finance team on a full-time permanent basis.

The Accounts Officer will report directly to the Financial Controller. With the support and direction of the Financial Controller, the Accounts Officer is to ensure all Payables, Billing, Banking, Cashiering, Month End, Statutory Compliance, and all related hotel accounting procedures and financial controls are adhered to in-line with Hotel Grand Chancellor Policies and Procedures.
**The Accounts Officer will be responsible for but not limited to**:
- Accurately process supplier payments in a timely manner
- Accurately process invoices into financial systems
- Daily count of all cash collections
- Preparing weekly and monthly payments
- Monitor cash flow
- Monitor and checking account transactions
- Prepare month end journals in a timely manner
- Reconcile Statement of Accounts, Balance Sheets and Bank Accounts
- Ensure any discrepancies are resolved and reported
- Preform petty cash cashiering and diligent safekeeping of funds
- Process of employee reimbursements
- Assist and monitoring purchasing department when required
- Provide excellent service at all times
- Any other financial ad hoc duties as required
