**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Finance Coordinator, the **Accounts Receivable Officer** is to ensure the timely invoicing of services to customers within Babcock Australasia.

This will include, but not limited to:

- Raise invoices to customers on a timely basis and enter debtor invoices into the
- Post monthly debtor statements.
- Provide effective credit control through monitoring debtor performance and initiate debt
- collection activities as required, including weekly review of ageing debtors
- Reconcile debtors with general ledger and prepare monthly debtors report.
- Process receipts via daily banking process and enter payments into the accounting system.

**About You**

You will ideally come with experience in a similar position, will see you competent in using electronic accounting systems and MS Office Suites. You will work well under pressure to be able to meet demanding deadlines whilst still holding accuracy of output with attention to detail. Having experience in processing multiple currency and would be desirable.
