**Position**: Accounts Officer

**Location**: Bowen Hills, QLD

**Employment Type**: Full-time - In this role, you will be on a rotating weekly roster working from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Managing client billing and reconciliation of accounts
- Managing Medicare and Private Health Fund claims
- Daily banking
- Working alongside the billing team to troubleshoot issues that may arise
- General administration tasks

**What we are looking for**:
This position would suit an enthusiastic self-starter who is team orientated and willing to jump into any task at hand. You will display strong analytical skills alongside a passion for continuous quality improvement.

We are looking for a solutions-driven individual who can work effectively as part of a team and who is willing to jump into any task at hand. To thrive in this role, you will have strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and solid alpha-numeric keyboard skills. A moderate level of Microsoft Excel knowledge is also required.

Although not essential, previous experience working in the medical sector, a Certificate IV in accounting and knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) will be highly regarded.
