With a strong national presence working alongside clients with an annual turnover of up to 500 million this firm is looking to continue its consistent year on year growth through growing its business services department with a strong focus towards advisory work. The firm works alongside ASX listed companies and offers a wide array of exposure to complex matters whilst maintaining a strong training support network for new employees. With regimented structure and clear-cut progression through to management, this firm is looking to bring on board a motivated accountant looking to progress their career to the next level.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE CONSIST OF
- Manage a team of 8 Accountants and control your own book of clients from start to finish
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Managing the preparation of Financial Accounts, Income Tax Returns, and Business Activity Statements for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships
- Drafting of tax advice to clients on particular transactions
- Mentoring and managing a group of junior accountants
- IT - issues, upgrades and improvements
- High amount of both internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Support other Managers and Directors to achieve their tasks. Can perform complex assignments for Directors
- Review of job budgets, monitoring of WIP and adherence to the firm’s workflow process. Approve fees with accurate and appropriate narratives demonstrating a commercial approach
- Strong technical tax (direct and indirect) knowledge in matters applicable to the SME market
