**About the Department**
Novo Nordisk (NN) Oceania is a high performing affiliate within a mature pharma market environment. Our primary business is in the area of diabetes where we have a broad range of product offerings, as well as our recent entry into obesity management.
The Supply Chain organisation supports the business through conducting planning and supply chain activities ensuring that there is sufficient product to meet patient’s needs. The Demand & Supply Planning Analyst, is a key member of the NN Supply Chain (SC) team based in a brand-new modern office in North Sydney and will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
**The Position**
In this role, you will conduct demand and supply analysis related supply chain activities to ensure sufficient inventory to support the company’s strategic business objectives. You will be the owner of the Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process for the allocated portfolios ensuring that all meetings, measures, and associated activities are completed on time in full. You will also serve as the Supply Chain (SC) Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for a number of products to ensure SC engagement with all key personnel who are associated with those product portfolios.
Specific duties include but not limited to:
- Build relationships with internal & external customers while ensuring that Novo Nordisk’s values and integrity are maintained, and all compliance activities are completed on time and in full.
- For the allocated product portfolio, ensure that inventory is managed and there is sufficient stock to meet customers’ requirements considering all SC fundamentals including lead-time, customers’ demands, product shelf life, among other critical factors.
- Manage consignment inventory as well as Novo Nordisk’s suppliers, both internal and external, to ensure there is sufficient inventory to meet customers’ requirements.
- Ensure that all transactions are conducted in all Novo Nordisk information systems timely and correctly, and in line with any regulatory and compliance requirements and that all activities including reporting are performed on time in accordance with the company’s Quality System, standard operating procedures, and any other legislative requirements.
- Develop analytical tools to review and analyse relevant data to identify, develop and implement process improvements, and support the Supply Chain Manager on projects where needed as well as maintaining a high level of interaction with internal stakeholders to foster a supply chain business partnering environment.
**Qualifications**
- You have more than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain.
- Exposure to medical industries is a big plus.
- University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field, is preferred.
- APICS Certification and Lean 6 Sigma qualifications would be highly regarded.
