Let’s talk about the team
This role is accountable for the People Operations function within Latitude. Leading a team of People Operations professionals you will be responsible for the management and implementation of the core People Processes, delivering an outstanding experience for our employees.

Working with the Head of People Services, you will be driving the continuous improvement agenda for the people team, defining the priorities and implementing process improvements and measuring the success of these initiatives. You will also be responsible for core governance activities such as the management of our policy documents and maintaining data accuracy in our core HRIS platform (Workday).

Leadership
- Lead a team of People Operations professionals (Team of 2)
- Ensure a collaborative cross functional team effort to improve processes and practices

Operational Leadership
- Oversight of the People Operations function for Latitude, including management of the overall People Operations plan.
- Responsible for key governance activities such as policy management, management of core people processes and overall HR Data accuracy (in consultation with People Systems lead)
- Management of the People query intake process and system. Identifying/driving improvements and regular reporting
- Work closely with other teams within People Services (Payroll and People Systems), as well as the broader People Team such as the People Partners, Culture, Capability and Talent Acquisition
- Overall management of any large scale operational activities, such as supporting restructures
- Own relationships with key stakeholders such as Background Check provider, Query intake tool provider, Internal tech and finance teams
- As required, complete overflow Operational activities

Continuous Improvement
- Working with the People Leadership team, determine priorities for continuous process and policy improvements. Taking ownership for implementing and delivering these improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with the People Systems Lead to initiate, support/provide input any systems enhancements. Playing a key role in ensuring process/policy impacts are considered and driving change management and communication activities
- Constant focus on enabling Latitude employees to self-serve for their people information. Including overall management of the People Team intranet site.
- Continued upskill of your People Operations team on process/advisory/systems to allow for first time closing of queries.

Let's talk about you
Experience & Knowledge
- HR operational or HR generalist experience is preferred
- Exposure to managing high volume / high accuracy transaction processing and contract administration
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures, legislative, regulatory and statutory requirements and the ability to provide advice on these matters
- Strong understanding of Workday or similar people management system
- Experience with a broad range of generalist People processes and process improvement

Desirable
- Qualification in Human Resources or related discipline is preferable
- Broad, generalist HR experience ideally within an agile and / or digital environment
- Confident partnering with stakeholders to both respectfully challenge, coach and support
- Passionate about learning and adopts a growth mindset
- Empathetic, authentic and a natural problem solver
- Experience with leading a team or proven ability to coach and develop
