**Infrastructure Directorate**

The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City’s important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects.

This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City’s sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling’s vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.

**About the Position**

This position is responsible for supervising internal and external resources in the upkeep and maintenance of developed Parks and Reserves and public open space infrastructure assets within the City. This includes but is not limited to sportsgrounds, parklands, pathways, playgrounds, trees, signage, lighting, furniture and fencing.

**Key Responsibilities**

This role coordinates all human, plant/fleet and financial resources required to complete Parks and Reserves maintenance works and is also responsible for;
- Maintaining management works schedules.
- Ensuring contractor compliance with contract specification standards.
- Developing and maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement for employees and quality of works in Parks.
- Customer enquiries and complaints relating to Parks.
- Workplace/site safety.

**About You**
- Diploma in Horticulture or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Certificate 3 in Leadership or demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated ability to guide and motivate a team towards achieving goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills for clear and effective interaction across a large organisation and with external customers
- Demonstrate leadership in the development and upgrading of parks and streetscapes.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and work environments
- Intermediate skills using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Possession of ‘C’ class drivers’ license, which must be maintained as current whilst employed at the City.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 7 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $96,731 to $101,823 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
