Looking for an experienced Communication and Media Manager to join the team within the next 2 weeks. On temporary basis you will be working for this department for 3 months.

**Your new role**

As a** **Communication and Media Manager you will be responsible for planning and implementing media and other internal and external communication strategies and activities. Your daily task will include:

- Lead and direct the development, implementation, and elevation of communication strategies, plans, and policies
- Provide strategic advice to the Executive Director, Corporate Executive, and other staff in relation to communication
- Develop and foster effective relationships with relevant media and other stakeholders
- Coordinate and oversee the production of the annual report and other publications
- Develop and manage media liaison strategies and activities
- Coordinate internal communication to ensure communication is effective
- Other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of communication plans
- Well-developed research, writing, editing and communication skills to provide a range of communication materials to external and internal stakeholders
- Well-developed computer skills with the proven ability to maintain/update websites, and a demonstrated understanding of multimedia tools and desktop publishing.
- Communication skills with the ability to present strong communication messages.
- Well-developed organisational skills, including prioritising competing demands to meet required deadlines.
