**Position Summary**:
**Ventia**is seeking a highly skilled **Contract and Commercial Manager (Transformation)** to join our Defence and Social Infrastructure Sector.
- Reporting to the National Commercial Manager of Defence, this full-time role offering a competitive salary and can be based in **Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, or Brisbane.**

**About The Role**:

- In this key role, you will lead complex change management initiatives from a commercial perspective, including contract transition activities. Your responsibilities will encompass project planning and management for assigned commercial projects, as well as engaging in contract negotiations and the development of commercial processes.
- Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:_
- Lead change management initiatives and contract transitions.
- Plan and manage commercial projects.
- Support contract negotiations with clients.
- Develop and implement complex commercial processes.
- Formulate and execute commercial improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on strategy development.
- Provide expert advice on contracts, claims, and risk management.
- Liaise with the legal team for legal reviews.

**Key Requirements**:

- Defence Security Clearance at BASELINE level (must be an Australian Citizen).
- Minimum five years' experience in contract or commercial management.
- Degree/diploma in commerce, business, accounting, law, quantity surveying, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the Defence contracting environment.
- Strong change management and contract transition experience.
- Exceptional commercial acumen, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven collaborative leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Personal drive, integrity, and commitment to teamwork.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and planning abilities.
- Commitment to workplace health, safety, and wellbeing.
