We have two exciting opportunities available in the role of Student Services Officer, to join our Student Services team based at one of our Campus locations across TAFE Queensland South West Region, including:
Toowoomba
Ipswich
Warwick
Springfield
Kingaroy
Dalby
Chinchilla
**As a Student Services Officer you will**:
Proactively and professionally assist and support Faculties across the South West region in achieving increased course retention and completion rates of students whilst ensuring the needs of our many clients are met.
Additionally provide a wide range of administrative and support services and ongoing assistance to a wide range of internal business units within our Region.
These positions are available on a temporary full-time (72 hours and 30 minutes per fortnight) and a temporary part-time (0.7) (50 hours and 45 minutes per fortnight) basis until 30 June 2026, unless otherwise determined, and report to the Student Experience Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for the full-time position at the AO3 classification level is $75,885.91 - $84,200.56 (gross) per annum, with these rates pro-rated for the part-time position.

Demonstrated high level planning and organisational skills with the ability to achieve outcomes within identified timeframes.
Demonstrate experience working as a collaborative and effective team member ensuring high levels of service delivery.
Demonstrated ability to analyse issues and recommend appropriate action strategies within the parameters of relevant legislation, guidelines and frameworks.
Possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to consult, liaise and negotiate with others, underpinned by relevant software packages.
