Reporting to the Principal Advisor, you will have the opportunity to provide high level executive administrative and operational project support to the General Manager and the Division. You will coordinate, manage and provide quality control over workflows within the Division. You will also be required to balance conflicting priorities, work to deadlines and display a high degree of professionalism, judgement and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
**Based in Brisbane, here's what your role will involve**:
- Provide high level confidential administrative and operational support to the General Manager including:
- analysis, coordination and preparation of departmental, ministerial, parliamentary and cabinet briefings, agendas, reports, submissions and presentations/events
- diary and travel management; monthly budget monitoring and analysis, processing expenditure approvals, invoices and accounts; reconciling monthly corporate cards
- ensure quality control and efficient processing of all ministerial, senior executive and key stakeholder briefing materials are in place
- undertaking research and analysis to identify a range of options to support executive decision making
- maintaining excellent working knowledge of current matters relevant to the General Manager.
- Actively participate in the delivery and coordination of other business management functions and projects both domestically and internationally as required.
- Establish and maintain effective communication strategies, protocols, stakeholder negotiation and liaison activities across cultures and other private and public sector organisations.
