Hays Trades and Labour are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic or Service Advisor with a keen eye detail and safety for an exciting opportunity with a trusted client. We are seeking career driven Diesel mechanics that are eager to move off the tools into a service advisor position or alternatively an experienced Diesel Mechanic

**Your new role**

We are seeking to speak to all heavy vehicle mechanics who are looking to welcome their next exciting career move. Within this role you will be required to help customers keep their vehicles in operation. Support customers with technical knowledge regarding the repair and maintenance of vehicle power systems and effectively liaise with customers to build relationship and ensure that the branch is the first choice for all customers.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will have a career driven and positive attitude, as well as the following.
- Trade Qualified Level 3 Certification in your specific Diesel Automotive Field (Heavy preferred)
- Sound knowledge of the engines and power systems of trucks
- Proven ability to work independently
- Experience performing maintenance, service, and repairs on heavy vehicles
- Have a strong outcome focus on both safety as well as quality
- Strong Customer service skills
- Competent computer skills
