**The Opportunity**:
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Investigate financial transactions and data to identify errors and identify and potentially initiate corrective actions.
- Assess financial compliance assurance issues to design and recommend solutions.
- Support funds availability assurance and associated drafting requirements to support Section 23s, relevant budgeting reporting and other correspondence on financial matters.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- 2 years’ experience in a finance related position
- A Certificate IV in Contracts and Procurement
- Demonstrated experience in performing financial activities in accordance with relevant legislation and whole of government policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience assessing financial compliance assurance issues to design and recommend solutions.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and interrogating financial data to ensure the accuracy of financial information in reports and systems.
